A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
Minimum three (3) years’ work experience in electrical engineering.
Project management experience with leadership and mentoring skills.
Knowledgeable and experienced in designing with NEC code.
Extensive knowledge of motor control center engineering and design.
Excellent ability to write electrical and instrumentation specifications.
Excellent knowledge of P&IDs and instrumentation for water/wastewater facilities.
Experience working with schematic drawings and wiring diagrams.

Minimum two (2) years of work experience in military, industrial, or water/wastewater facilities.
Bachelor’s or Technical training in electrical power distribution, and instrumentation and control.
Excellent knowledge of single-line diagrams for power distribution.
Working knowledge of motor controls.
Familiarity with Eaton, Square D, and ABB electrical distribution equipment.
Experience working with schematic drawings and wiring diagrams.
General understanding of PLC hardware, input and outputs, and their functions.
Working knowledge of P&IDs and instrumentation for water/wastewater and industrial facilities.
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Xrefs, layers, and scales.

One year of AutoCAD training or experience preferred.
Experience with electrical utility design drafting or experience with Civil layout / design drafting support.
Must be detail oriented and be willing to learn.
Must have good organizational skills to be able to track assigned jobs.
Drafting knowledge of P&IDs and instrumentation for water/wastewater facilities.
Drafting knowledge on schematic drawings and wiring diagrams.
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Xrefs, layers, and scales.
